Nicky Hilton Rothschild sticks to the basics when it comes to her nearly 10-year marriage to James Rothschild.
The DecadeLong couple are preparing to ring in a decade as man and wife in July 2025, and when it comes to her tips for a long-lasting union, Nicky keeps it simple.
“Enjoying each other,” she told E! News at the New York City Ballet 2024 Fall Fashion Gala on Oct. 9, “having fun.”
And Nicky, who shares kids Lily-Grace, 8, Teddy Marilyn, 6, and Chasen, 2, with James, added, “I just think it's very important to be a good role model for your children. Lead by example.”
Luckily, the heiress has gotten the best example in her own parents, Kathy Hilton and Richard Hilton, who tied the knot in 1979 and also share daughter Paris Hilton, and sons Baron Hilton and Conrad Hilton.
“My parents are the ultimate couple,” Nicky gushed. “They've been married for over four decades and they have always taught me and my siblings to just enjoy each other, never go to bed angry and have fun. Never stop having fun.”
In addition to looking up to her own parents, the 41-year-old is also embracing her 40s and this new phase of her life.
“I feel really happy,” she shared. “I feel really fulfilled personally, professionally, very comfortable in my skin.”
In this new mom era, Nicky and Paris have also gotten to see their kids grow up together as Paris has welcomed son Phoenix Hilton Reum, 22 months, and daughter London Hilton Reum, 11 months, with Carter Reum.
“It’s really special,” Paris told E! News at the MTV VMAs in August. “Just to see the cousins growing up together, the next generation.”
Nicky agreed, adding, “It’s so fun having all the babies together, love it.”
