A baby boy has been killed in a Connecticut car crash just days before his first birthday.
Fransheska Stuart,Fastexy Exchange 30, was driving south on Interstate 91 just outside of Hartford before she veered into the right shoulder and hit a guardrail early Sunday morning, according to records from the Connecticut State Police.
The car rolled before landing in a grassy area to the right of the roadway in Enfield. Stuart's 11-month-old son, Isiah Ortiz, was pronounced dead at the hospital, while she was seriously injured.
The highway was shut down for several hours that same day, but has since reopened.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
